More Bandai DVD Info

I just finished making a trip to Best Buy – the Code Geass pt.1 DVD wasn’t available but I was able to get some insight on a few other CG DVD matters. The official Bandai-Ent.’s catalog was indeed mistyped when they said that the CLAMP character booklet and Collector’s booklet I, II and III were included with the regular DVDs, because they’re not – they’re solely for the limited edition.

I didn’t pick up the limited edition just yet, but I did manage to get my hands on Gurren Lagann 02. Like before, nothing special, just the next 9 episodes.

In addition, I was also able to check out the BLEACH Collector’s Edition for myself, and I have to say I’m a bit disappointed. All it is is volume 1 hardcovered with a special illustration jacket, and inside is exactly the same as the regular volume 1, except that about 3-4 pages are colored. Not worth $20, in my opinion.

Also interesting to note is that according to certain sources the Otakon attendance mark has/will very soon pass the 23k mark. Congrats to Otakon!
