Happy 4th day after the 30th of June! (Although technically it’s already July 5th)

This news might be a little too late (heck, it was too late for me, too), but BLEACH has been pushed back to air at midnight instead of 12:30 on [adult swim].  Moribito is also a half an hour earlier, but CG and the others are still at the same time (this was all caused by Star Wars being moved to a different time).

It looks like this change is here to stay, as the [a s] website shows that next Saturday’s schedule is the same.

They will still be airing 2 new BLEACH episodes.

Today at 12:30am on [adult swim], there will be two episodes of BLEACH and Code Geass airing instead of the usual measly one.  This is good news only for those who missed last week’s episode, however:  the first episode is simply a re-airing of last week’s, and NOT a new one.  Last week, BLEACH 104 aired.  This week, 104 and 105.  Next week, 105 and 106.  Hopefully [a s] will replace the old episodes with new ones so that we’ll be able to see two new episodes a week instead of one.

Cartoon Network’s Toonami block is officialy over after 11 wonderful years, and [adult swim] seems to have some anime on its Saturday block after a two-week break.

Yes, Toonami is done and finished with, but their Jetstream website is still going strong.  Check it out to catch some older anime episodes.

[adult swim] will actually have some anime on this coming Saturday night!  The anime that will air are as follows:

• 1:00am Death Note
• 2:00am BLEACH
• 2:30am Fullmetal Alchemist
• 4:00am FLCL
• 5:00am InuYasha

Looks like I’ll be staying up pretty late to catch my BLEACH.  But…is that Death Note I see??!  Appropriately enough, it looks like Death Note will start back up with episode “Revival.”

So no repeat episodes, a bunch of strange cartoons scattered between the anime, and still no Code Geass.  It’s still streaming on their official website, but, didn’t [a s] say that R2 was to air immediately after CG?  Did they mean “air online?”  The internets wins some serious business, but I’d honestly rather watch my anime on the tube, even if it does force me to stay up until 5-o’-clock in the morning on Sunday.

[adult swim] has yet another new Saturday lineup, and, well, I really wasn’t expecting it.  So, don’t ask me what was on BLEACH 80.  I don’t know.  What I do know is the new lineup.  And…where’s the anime?

I stopped including the times about halfway through because as you can clearly see, there are only two anime titles in that lineup.  Next Saturday will also have this same lineup.  Code Geass and Shin-chan are streaming on their website, but there’s no sign of the two returning on air.  Right now I’m not in the mood to watch the newest Code Geass (I will later, so check back for that) – I’m very upset about this.  FMA is nice and all, and I don’t mind missing an episode or two of BLEACH now that it’s in it’s filler stages, but what on earth is happening to [a s]’s anime lineup??

[adult swim] has aired 16 out of the 25 Code Geass episodes already (although they won’t be showing episode 17 tomorrow night), and it has been confirmed that they will air R2 immediately after Code Geass is finished with its run.

A certain post on the [adult swim] official boards confirms the airing of R2 after CG.  It seems to be quite official, but if I can find a better source I’ll be sure to note it later.

I really don’t understand what’s going on with [a s] lately, but perhaps this (R2) is something we can look forward to (as long as [a s] keeps a steady schedule)…

[adult swim] has pushed back BLEACH and Code Geass yet again and has completely removed Death Note from their listings from what I can tell. Death Note is still, however, listed in their “shows” subsection of their official website. Their new Saturday night lineup is:

Also, next Saturday (16th) BLEACH, Code Geass, and Cowboy Bebop will not even air (according to the official site – scroll to the bottom and check the listings) and will instead be replaced by an Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie.

Now, this all hurts me very, very much, but, I’ll take it standing up like a man.  Besides, there’s always the DVDs, right?  Heh, heh…sigh…

As of last night [adult swim] has began airing a slightly new Saturday anime lineup. Looks like InuYasha’s been given the boot.

• 1:00 am Ghost in the Shell

Now, onto BLEACH 74.  Nothing too spectacular, really.  Ichigo and friends go nuts searching for Uryu, who is safe and sound with the Bount Yoshino.  We get a little insight on her past:  that she was in love with Kariya, and that now she wants to take him down before he can become a godlike being.  Uryu, who does a great deal of blushing in this episode, also goes to say that he wants, and would do anything, to help her.  We also learn that one of the Bounts, Maki, was previously a Soul Reaper in Squad 11 and left because he had sworn an oath of loyalty to the captain that Kenpachi killed, and couldn’t work under Kenpachi for killing his former captain.  So basically, this episode was just a lot of flashbacks.

By contrast Code Geass 14 had a great deal going on.  We finally learn that the mysterious white-haired man is named Mao and that he has a Geass that enables him to hear other people’s thoughts.  But beforehand Shirley had shot Villetta, who had seen Lulu as Zero.  Mao uses Shirley’s feelings to his advantage and tries to get her to kill Lulu, but she can’t bring herself to do it.  As C.C. sends Mao, who apparently is in love with her (he wears those headphones to listen to her voice saying, “Good job, Mao!” and, “I knew you could do it, Mao!” and things like that) away from Lulu and Shirley by starting up the cable car he was on, Lulu uses his Geass on Shirley to make her forget about him.  Then at the end we see that Lulu did indeed have feelings for Shirley, but nothing can be done about it now.

I bet it’s going to be awkward for Shirley to come to school the next day and know nothing about Lulu.  I wonder how Milly will react to that…and one can only hope that things get a bit more interesting in BLEACH.
