Well anime/manga news has been a little slow recently I think, so howsabout some videogame related news?

Tales of Vesperia (360) should be in stores now, seeing as how it’s release date was yesterday.  It’s the first Tales game to be on the 360, and it looks pretty darn nice – I’m really hoping that I can get myself a copy soon.

Seeing as how I don’t really check up on storylines and such beforehand for games, there isn’t too much I can tell you, except that it looks really fun (I myself have only played Phantasia in the Tales series so of course the Vesperia battle system looks different compared to P), almost like Eternal Sonata without the turns.

The character designs are done by Kousuke Fujishima (Oh My Goddess!, a handfull of other Tales games), and the music composer is Motoi Sakuraba (some other Tales games, score for Eternal Sonata, Baten Kaitos OSTs).  You can watch some videos and join in on the happy release festivities at the Tales Brigade (this will look really familiar to those who were a part of the Endless Nocturne).

All in all, I’m pretty excited.  Sadly I won’t be able to get my own copy very soon, but I know I will eventually.  Anyone else planning on getting this game?  Please leave a comment with your thoughts – but don’t spoil anything! D:
