Tomorrow begins the New York Anime Festival, this year with one of their Guests of Honor being the absolutely too-amazing-for-words Yoshitaka Amano, along with Hideyuki Kikuchi who, if that name doesn’t ring a bell, wrote (and is still writing) the original Vampire Hunter D novels.

Cartoon Network’s Toonami block is officialy over after 11 wonderful years, and [adult swim] seems to have some anime on its Saturday block after a two-week break.
